Wylie, TX — The Wylie Acting Group is excited to invite young performers to audition for their upcoming production of “Twice Upon a Time,” a whimsical play by Tracey Wells. Directed by Melissa Harbison and Barbara Holder, this delightful show offers a fresh take on classic fairy tales.
About the Production:
In “Twice Upon a Time,” Grandma, who prefers adventurous stories, adds her own humorous twists to familiar fairy tales when her grandkids ask for bedtime stories. Each tale begins with “Twice upon a time…” as she introduces quirky characters and absurd scenarios, such as Cindy-Rella, who refuses to leave her chores for a prince’s barbecue, and a confused Big Bad Bear who disrupts multiple stories.
The playful narrative features five fractured fairy tales, filled with laughter and fun, making it perfect for young audiences and performers alike.
Audition Details:
- Date: Saturday, June 28th
- Eligibility: Open to youth in 1st through 9th grades
- Performances: Scheduled from September 5–14, with a total of eight shows.
This is an opportunity for young actors to showcase their talents on stage. The Wylie Acting Group is encouraging all interested youth to join participate.
