Shooting Incident in Garland Leaves One Dead, Multiple Injured

Garland, TX – A shooting in the 3800 block of West Walnut on April 18, 2025, has resulted in multiple injuries and one fatality. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m., prompting a swift response from the Garland Police Department.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that several individuals had been shot, including a 3-year-old, a 15-year-old, and a 42-year-old. All victims were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Tragically, the 15-year-old was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The Garland Police Department has issued a news release confirming that the suspects involved in this incident remain at large. Detectives are currently on the scene, actively working to gather information and evidence related to the case.
