Rowlett Police Seek Community Help in Gunfire Incident

Rowlett, TX — The Rowlett Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a serious gunfire incident that occurred early Thursday morning, May 29, 2025.

Incident Overview

At approximately 3:30 AM, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 7800 block of Tulane Drive. A resident reported hearing gunfire, with two rounds entering their bedroom window and striking the wall above their bed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported; however, the situation was deemed extremely dangerous.

Suspects Description

Surveillance footage captured two unknown suspects walking southbound on Auburn Lane before turning westbound onto Tulane Drive. The suspects fired multiple rounds in front of the victim’s home, both seen using handguns before fleeing southbound down Auburn Lane.

The Rowlett Police Department is urging anyone who may recognize the suspects or have any information related to the incident to come forward. This includes:
