Rowlett, TX — Rowlett Elementary announced the appointment of Ms. Erin Pacheco as the new principal for the 2025-2026 school year. The announcement was made by interim principal Vicki D. Boyd in an email to parents and guardians on May 5.
Ms. Pacheco previously served as principal at Montclair Elementary in Garland. In her introductory statement, Ms. Pacheco expressed her excitement about joining Rowlett Elementary, stating, “It is a privilege to join this wonderful community and to celebrate its rich history.” She went on to emphasize the importance of collaborating with families to provide a strong foundation for student success.
Interim principal Boyd acknowledged the transition as significant but assured families that the focus would remain on providing quality education through the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. “It is vitally important that we continue to move forward with determination, drive, and positivity to finish strong,” she emphasized.
