Rowlett, TX – The Rowlett Area Chamber invites residents and visitors alike to lace up their running shoes for the 11th Annual Freedom 5K Run and Walk on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This exciting event will take place at Rowlett Community Park, located at 8700 Saint Andrews Lane.
Are you ready for a challenge this Fourth of July? Participants can celebrate the holiday by joining the 5K and Fun Run, which offers categories for all age groups. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category, recognizing everyone from children to senior citizens.
Race Day Schedule:
- 6:00 AM – 6:45 AM: Packet Pickup
- 7:00 AM: 5K Begins
- 7:45 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run
- 8:15 AM: Awards Ceremony
Fun Run and 5k Route:
Registrations are currently open, with entry fees starting at $20 for the 1K Fun Run and $50 for the 5K. Participants can take advantage of a $2 discount by sharing the 5K registration page, available at RaceEntry.
