ROWLETT, TX — The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce celebrated outstanding community members at the recent Hometown Heroes Award Banquet, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the betterment of Rowlett. Among the honorees was GISD Trustee Larry Glick, the recipient of the prestigious Vernon Schrade Heritage Hall of Fame Award, which pays tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to improving the community.

Mark Hall, who received the Honorary Lifetime Member Award, shared his excitement on Facebook, reflecting on his years of service to the Rowlett community and the Chamber. He expressed gratitude for the support he has received and highlighted the importance of the Hometown Heroes Banquet in honoring those who work tirelessly to keep the community thriving. Hall noted, “These are people that go above and beyond in their chosen profession and someone you would want in your corner when needed.”
Chance Jobe, an ambassador at the Rowlett Area Chamber, emphasized the significance of the awards, stating, “These individuals exemplify what it means to serve with heart and purpose. We’re grateful for their contributions and proud to recognize their incredible work.”.
