Press Release: Volunteer Garland Partners with Local Organizations to Expand Environmental Outreach

Garland, TX — Volunteer Garland is proud to announce new partnerships with the Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest and Keep Garland Beautiful, expanding opportunities for residents to serve and learn.

These partnerships enhance access to environmental volunteer projects and public education. All opportunities are now available at VolunteerGarland.org.

The Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest, founded in 1989, protects one of Garland’s most treasured natural areas. The group hosts nature walks, public workdays, and educational programs focused on the city’s old-growth forest and native wildlife.

Keep Garland Beautiful is a volunteer-led group focused on litter prevention, beautification, and environmental education. From community cleanups to pollinator gardens, the group works to preserve Garland’s natural charm.

Residents, schools, churches, businesses, and other groups can now find and sign up for events through the city’s Volunteer Portal.
