GARLAND, TX — The Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest will host a guided walk and workshop titled “Common Vines of the Metroplex” on Saturday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m. The event will be led by local expert Dana Wilson and aims to educate participants on plant identification techniques.

Workshop Overview
This 1.5-hour hands-on workshop will focus on identifying common vines found in the area. Participants will learn basic plant identification skills, including the use of a dichotomous key. The workshop is designed for individuals looking to enhance their botanical knowledge.
Space is limited to 15 participants, and early reservations are recommended. Attendees are encouraged to bring a clipboard or notepad for taking notes, as well as bottled water for hydration during the session.
Continuing Education for Master Naturalists
For Master Naturalists, this workshop will provide 1.5 hours of Advanced Training, offering a chance to earn credit while learning about local flora.
