Garland, TX – On June 19, 2025, Randall Reed’s Planet Ford 635 celebrated a milestone by receiving the prestigious President’s Award from Ford Motor Company for the 13th consecutive year. This honor recognizes the dealership as one of the top-performing Ford dealerships in the nation and is awarded based on customer feedback gathered from surveys following sales and service experiences. To qualify, dealerships must consistently exceed customer expectations across all areas.
Managing Partner Justin Wright opened the celebration by expressing his pride in the team. “This recognition is not just about our performance; it’s about our people and their dedication to providing outstanding customer experiences,” Wright stated. Out of 2,965 Ford dealers, only 339 received the award in 2024, making this achievement particularly significant.
During the celebration, Sheena Sharapata, who leads the marketing and community events at Planet Ford 635, shared important highlights, mentioning the collaboration with several local businesses that support community non-profits, which Planet Ford 635 credits to contributing to their success. She expressed gratitude to Kimbrell’s Kustom Machine Shop, Inc., APS Building Services, the Garland Chamber of Commerce, Caliber Car Wash, and E&D Premiere Roofing & Solar for their partnership in these initiatives.
Planet Ford 635 presented two significant donations during the event. The first was a check for $55,000 to sponsor the 3rd Annual Planet Ford 635 5-0 Clay Shoot, benefiting the Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit supports Garland Police Department employees and their immediate family members.
The second check, for $51,000, was presented to the 2nd Annual Garland 9th Street Gym Project Showcase – Developing the Future. Co-founder Dave Swavey highlighted the long-standing relationship between the dealership and the gym, recalling how Jerry Reynolds played a pivotal role in establishing the Guns and Hoses Foundation, now one of the largest in the country. “Sheena is now taking us to what we would consider a whole new level,” Swavey remarked.
Sharapata noted that many successful individuals who came through the gym have returned to support its initiatives, emphasizing the gym’s lasting impact on the community. The gym, which has been operational for over 30 years, has positively influenced over 10,000 kids through its programs.
In recognition of her efforts, the gym presented Sheena Sharapata with a Champion boxing belt for her outstanding support of their initiatives. As Planet Ford 635 celebrates another year of receiving the President’s Award, the dealership continues to prioritize customer satisfaction and community involvement.
