Garland, TX – The North Garland Library is set to host an event as part of the Garland Library’s Club Curiosity series: Perot Tech Truck for a Community Science Meet-Up on Tuesday, June 24 at 2:30 p.m. This hands-on science experience is designed for families and children, providing an opportunity to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).

The Perot Museum’s TECH Truck will bring its educational programs to the library, allowing kids and families to participate in maker-based STEAM activities. This come-and-go event will feature various interactive stations where participants can explore and discover scientific concepts.
The Community Programs Department of the Perot Museum is dedicated to promoting STEM learning across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The TECH Truck initiative is a key part of their mission, designed to inspire young minds through hands-on experiences in nature and science. Depending on the audience, the experiences provided by the TECH Truck may vary in terms of technological engagement, ranging from no technology to high-tech applications.
