GARLAND, TX — The Garland Landmark Museum invites crafters of all skill levels to participate in its Heritage Handwork gatherings, where creativity and community come together. Handwork projects encompass a variety of creative activities that utilize hands-on techniques to produce beautiful and functional items. These projects include fiber arts such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, and weaving.

Taking place on the third Friday of every month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and every second Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., these sessions provide a welcoming space for individuals to bring their hand quilting, embroidery, cross-stitch, crochet, or knitting projects. While the program is not instructional, it offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow crafters, share ideas, and enjoy the art of handwork in a friendly environment.
Heritage Handwork is a chance to unwind, socialize, and make progress on your projects alongside others with a similar passion. For more information, visit the Garland Landmark Museum’s Facebook page or stop by to learn more about this exciting opportunity to engage with local artisans.
