While he conceptualizes designs and seeks strategic partnerships, his partner, Valerie Najera, an experienced swimwear seamstress, plays a crucial role in bringing each uniquely designed piece to life. In addition to swimwear, Hugo has aspirations to broaden his offerings in the fashion industry.
Hugo’s background in music has shaped his creative endeavors. He initially started as a music artist, gaining traction in the local scene before branching out into fashion and photography. “Music was my first love, but I wanted to explore other creative avenues,” he shared. “I’ve learned to bridge different industries, and now I’m focusing on fashion with a new swimwear line that reflects both style and modesty.”
Working alongside a co-designer, Hugo is passionate about creating pieces that cater to a diverse audience. “I want to provide options that resonate with people’s values and lifestyles,” he said.
