Garland, TX – The annual Red, White, and You event is scheduled for July 3, 2025, at Downtown Square, starting at 5:00 PM. This family-friendly celebration marks Independence Day with a variety of activities, entertainment, and free admission.
The evening will commence with the Presentation of Colors at 5 PM, followed by performances from the American Bombshells, a trio that offers a modern take on the classic Andrews Sisters. Their sets will feature popular songs from the 1940s to the present, aiming to evoke a sense of patriotism and unity. As the night progresses, Q the Band, known for their Grammy-nominated musicianship, will take the stage, providing an energetic performance that combines musical talent with visual appeal.
A carnival will be set up at Avenue A and 5th Street, featuring rides such as the Ballistic Swing, Carousel, Pirate Ship, and Ferris Wheel to entertain attendees of all ages.
Alongside the Square’s restaurants, there will be food trucks to help serve the thousands of anticipated guests who come to celebrate the occasion each year.
In addition to the entertainment and food, there will be various activities for families, including a pie-eating contest and attractions like the Texas Skatium Skating Rink on 7th and State St., Amazon Zip Line on 5th St., and a Kids Corner in Foundry Lot featuring bounce houses and obstacle courses.
The fireworks are back this year and are expected to kick off at 9:30 p.m.
For those attending, several transportation and parking options are available. Guests can take DART’s Blue Line to the Downtown Garland Station, which is a short walk from the Square.
For those opting to drive, parking is available at Garland High School and Lavon Drive Baptist Church, with continuous shuttles running from 5 to 10 PM. The shuttles will drop off at convenient locations near the event.
