GARLAND, TX – May 1, 2025 – Garland Masonic Lodge No. 441 AF&AM is proud to announce a momentous occasion: its 150th anniversary. To commemorate a century and a half of fraternity, charity, and service in the Garland community, the Lodge will host a special public celebration on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lodge located at 125 E. State Street, Garland, TX 75040.
Founded in 1875, Garland Masonic Lodge No. 441 has been an integral part of Garland’s growth and development, contributing to various charitable causes and upholding the timeless principles of Freemasonry. For 150 years, the Lodge has served as a place for men to gather, build character, and work together for the betterment of their community.
The anniversary celebration is open to the public and will offer attendees an opportunity to learn more about the history of the Lodge and Freemasonry in Texas. The event will feature a look back at the Lodge’s rich past and its ongoing commitment to serving Garland.
Distinguished guests are expected to be in attendance, including several Garland City Council Members, demonstrating the strong ties between the Lodge and local leadership. A special highlight of the evening will be an appearance by the Grand Master of Masons in Texas, Most Worshipful Raborn Reader.

The celebration on May 10th is a chance for residents to connect with members of the Lodge, explore its historic building, and understand the positive impact Freemasonry has had on Garland.
