Garland, TX — The Garland Chamber of Commerce will host the 16th Annual Business Expo on May 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dallas College Garland Center, located at 675 W. Walnut St. This free event aims to connect local professionals and promote business opportunities within the community.
Free Workshops
This year’s expo will include two informative workshops designed to enhance business growth:
- “This is Your Library, Too: Business & Career Support at Your Fingertips”
Presented by Haley Casillas, Adult Services Librarian – Garland Public Library
Time: 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
This workshop will highlight how the Garland Public Library can support business and career goals, featuring resources such as a small business incubator and makerspace. - “Targeted Marketing: Building Trust and Speaking to the Right Audience”
Presented by Suizan Schacherer, Owner – Square Peg Marketing
Time: 1:15 PM – 2:00 PM
This session will provide strategies for effective marketing, focusing on building authentic relationships and understanding the ideal audience.
Additional Event Highlights
Attendees can also enjoy a free In-N-Out Burger lunch while networking (available while supplies last). Local businesses interested in exhibiting can secure a booth for $425 for members and $500 for non-members, which includes promotional opportunities and space to connect with potential clients.

The Garland Chamber of Commerce encourages attendees and exhibitors to download the Marketing Kit to help promote the event. The kit includes ready-to-use graphics, social media posts, and other resources to generate excitement and drive attendance.
