Garland, TX — The Garland Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will host two upcoming events focused on pet adoption and health.
Dog Walk & Foster Fest
Date: Sunday, June 8, 2025
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, 1902 State Highway 66
The Dog Walk & Foster Fest invites community members to walk shelter dogs on the on-site walking trail. Participants can also visit Ben’s Lemonade Stand for refreshments and learn about fostering opportunities.
Free Vaccination Event
Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2025
Time: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Location: Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, 1902 State Highway 66
In collaboration with the Spay Neuter Network and supported by Petco Love, the shelter will provide free Parvo/Distemper vaccines for dogs and free FVRCP vaccines for cats. Additional vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and related services will be available at low-cost prices.
Note: Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and capacity may be limited.
