Dallas, TX – The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office has announced that the 9th Annual Expunction Expo will take place on July 8 and 9, 2025. This event provides individuals with the opportunity to apply for an expunction, allowing eligible participants to clear their arrest records and improve their chances of employment and housing.
In Texas, individuals may be eligible for expunction if they were arrested but not charged with a crime, had charges dismissed, were acquitted, received a pardon, or completed a pretrial diversion program. Expungement removes criminal records, making it as if the offense never occurred. Certain offenses, like felonies or those requiring mandatory registration, are not eligible for expungement.

Applications for the expunction process will open at 8:00 AM on July 8, 2025, and close at 5:00 PM on July 9, 2025. Individuals can apply in several ways:
- Online: Applications can be submitted through the Dallas County website at www.dallascounty.org/expunction.
- By Phone: Interested individuals can call 214-875-4999 between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM for assistance.
For those who prefer in-person assistance, computers will be available at two designated locations:
