Beginning May 27, 2025, Lane Closures at Saturn Road and Miller Road

GARLAND, TX – The City of Garland has shared upcoming lane closures that will impact traffic at the intersection of Saturn Road and Miller Road, starting Tuesday, May 27, 2025. These closures are part of Phase One of planned work in the area, aimed at improving local infrastructure.

Beginning on the 27th, the left-turn lane from westbound Miller Road onto southbound Saturn Road will be closed. Additionally, northbound traffic on Saturn Road will not be allowed to turn left onto westbound Miller Road. These changes are expected to create temporary disruptions for drivers in the area.

The closures are anticipated to remain in effect until further notice, contingent upon weather conditions. Residents are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and be aware of the potential delays.

To assist with navigating the changes, the City has provided a Traffic Control Plan (TCP) that details the affected lanes and includes a detour route for impacted traffic movements. This information is crucial for ensuring that drivers can adjust their travel plans and minimize inconvenience.

As the work progresses, updates will be provided to keep the community informed. Residents are urged to stay tuned to the City of Garland’s official channels for the latest information regarding the road closures and any subsequent changes.

For further inquiries or concerns, residents can contact the City’s transportation department directly.
